Greetings Developers

Welcome to the Content Creators Business Interests Development (CCBID)Group Blog!

Crickets

Yeah, yeah, I know… hellaciously long name, I got it… But, the point is, that we wanted to be sure that it was obvious what this blog was about, and why it’s here. This isn’t a personal blog, not by a long shot. This blog is all about you, the content creator.

Therefore, Sinsual and I, ToraKuo, decided that it would be best if the blog were a very open format, and very directly pointed towards what it’s about:

1. Content Creators on IMVU… Well, anywhere, actually come to think of it, but currently, we’re tackling IMVU. I hope it’s wearing some protective gear. :)

2. Business development, and of course, planning, as it pertains to Content Creators (hereafter referred to as “Developers”) who develop content and virtual goods for social networking internet sites.

3. Protecting the legal rights and business interests of Developers who create content and virtual goods for social networking internet sites.

So to that end, this is the first introductory post. Please register (though it’s not required) so that you can be apprised of updates to the blog and keep up on the current news and views as things unfold in the near future.

Thanks!

*Claps and wake up all neighbours*
I'm standing behind your efforts, especially No.3. We need to work on a real movement, representing user rights not only for devs, as well for the majority, who are customers not only to IMVU, but for every dev. The backing becomes stronger, if all users are included in the direction for a "Change".
How about a chat on strategies?

Thank you for the support Nkechi. I'm sure that I don't just speak for myself, but for Sinsual as well, when I say that it is immensely appreciated.

We are here also for the end-users, for without the developers customers, then the developer business model would not exist.

It's something that every developer readily recognizes, but is seemingly lost on IMVU. The changes they propose carry just as high of a potential for damaging consumer relationships as it does for damaging the relationships they currently have with their developers.

For IMVU, the CC Community and ultimately, the Consumer, this is indeed a "lose-lose" situation.

They are going to lose on the business end, while forcing both developers working with them and customers whom purchase their products to also lose the business & entertainment they get from those products.
